Teen Ministry

Based on the Bible mandate to reach all people, FLBC's youth group has been established to minister to teenage individuals, beginning at 7th grade or 13 years old. From the shores of the Keys to the caves of Tennessee, our Youth Group takes part in many exciting activities and ministries.  We have done everything from having a week of teen specific revival services all the way to evangelistic 3-on-3 basketball tournaments.

Weekly Youth Group

We understand that just as a teen has a large appetite for food, they have a yearning desire to know truth.  We seek to meet that need by holding a service and activity just for them every Saturday at 5:30 PM.  The activity gives them something to enjoy in a Christ honoring atmosphere and the service allows them to hear Bible based preaching.

Summer Trip

In the summer, we take the teens on an action packed ten day trip.  Each day of the trip is designed to both be fun and to increase their focus on God.  The trip includes a week at the Bill Rice Ranch.  At the ranch they can play sports, hear Christ honoring music, and be taught from the Word of God all in an atmosphere free from the usual distractions.  

Our Goal

We desire to reach teens for Christ and prepare them for the service and work of the Lord in the local church. To this end, we teach our teens the key to Christian success: a daily walk in Jesus Christ.
