Music
Singing is a vital part of the services at Fort Lauderdale Baptist Church. We believe God gave music not just for our enjoyment, but also teach us and prepare us to hear the Word of God. The words of a hymn should direct the person to the importance of the things of God and the music should not be a distraction.
At FLBC the entire congregation joins in singing songs that believers have loved in the hymn book "Great Hymns of the Faith". We generally sing every verse to get the whole message.
Special music comes from arranged hymns or newer songs keeping the attention on our Savior and not on the performer or audience. We use music distinctive to believers and avoid music associated with the world.
